Osidetiger Fuel injectors
« on: December 26, 2014, 05:52:10 PM »
I'm putting a new (to me) engine in my Motobrick and wanted to get my injectors cleaned by Mr. Injector but wanted a quick turnaround time. After considering two way quick postage and the total price including cleaning being over $80 I checked E-bay and got awesome lucky by finding osidetiger.com. 3 upgraded 4 port spray injectors for $79.99.They are local to me at 90 miles away in Winchester CA and a father and son outfit so I called and Charlie was VERY helpful and sped up the process by invoicing me on the 23rd of Dec. and shipping on Xmas eve!

Now the juicy part: his process is slightly better than Mr. Injector (go to his website and check it out) and my injectors arrived today 12/26! Check out the pic of what I got in the mail below.

He does a pre bath using ultra-sound and a pressurized bath. He microblasts the entire injector including electrical contacts. Also he considers the four spray ports superior to the stock injectors with pintel jets. I had a long convo with him about not just injectors, but fuel saving vaporizer systems for throttle body injectors which I have been thinking about for cars. He doesn't want old injectors to clean; instead he is focused on selling improved injectors with up to 12 spray holes.

I bought injectors that were originally Audi off eBay http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=5231.msg33316#msg33316

I think they were $40 for 4.

Awesome deal - current ebay pricing looks to be $25 each.  I read your writeup earlier this week after finding it on another thread.

Might be a good idea to add the Bosch 280150921 to the Alternate Parts List ???

I upgraded to the osidetiger injectors 400 miles ago and they do seem to offer a subtle throttle response improvement.

After upgrading check your fuel mixture.

On a 2v engine, assuming you don't have an exhaust analyzer handy, simply idle the bike until it's warm and then depress the green start button for a couple of seconds. If your air-fuel mixture is proper your idle RPM will increase a tiny bit. When I did this after the injector upgrade my bike nearly stalled almost immediately. I had to unscrew the 5mm air bypass hex screw on the airflow meter three and a half full turns in order to get the idle mix right.
