"BMW by Corbin" or Corbin Dual Canyon Sport

I have a 1994 K75 Standard with the "BMW by Corbin" seat, that I understand came as an option for period of time in the 90's.  I'm happy with it for shorter rides, but its fairly firm and after about 200 miles the pressure points do get irritating.  I'm considering a new seat or possibly modifying the one I have. 
In shopping around, I noticed the Corbin Dual Canyon Sport seat, which looks a lot like the "BMW by Corbin" seat that I have.  Does anyone know if it is, in fact, the same seat?
Also considering the Corbin Dual Tour Seat, but seat height is a concern since I have a 29"-30" inseam and I can't flat-foot with the seat I have.  I can get the balls of my feet firmly on the ground, but my heels are probably about 1-1/2 inches off the ground.  I'm concerned that I may need to lower the suspension (maybe not a bad idea, anyway) to reach the ground with the Dual Tour.
I've read great things about the Russell Day Long here and on the MOA forums, but the "wings" on those would probably make the seat height and even bigger issue than with the Corbin Dual Tour. 
If anyone has experience with these same issues, I'd love to hear from you.

i know a guy who motobricked on a corbin... it was so hard it messed up his bung hole... they had to sew it shut... then they drilled a hole in his taint so he could poo... 

never heard of a russell messing up a motobrickers bung... and if you wanna flat foot it... tell russell... you should getts an amazing seat and still be able to flat foot it...

I have a 29" inseam and the Dual Canyon LOW seat and I like it. It's firm but it fits. Johnny like the LazyBoy Lounger feel, I suppose :)

I can't flat-foot but I come close. You can get a lower rear shock or probably cut 3/4" from your front fork PVC spacers to get the bike a little lower too.

Thanks Tim & Johny . . . The Corbin Low Dual Canyon is one of the options I'm considering.  Obviously I'd need to do the high to low conversion in order to do that.  Still considering the Day Long, too, but concerned that it may not be the seat for my short legs, unless I lower the suspension. 

Do you know if anyone has tried to cut/trim the standard plastic side covers (that come with standard seat models) to work with the Corbin low seat?  Seems like shaping it should be no big problem, but mounting it might be.

I've since learned from the PO that he had replaced the BMWbyCorbin seat with a standard (high seat) Dual Canyon Sport.  It's very similar in appearance, but the Dual Canyon does have a different shape and he liked it better than the BMWbyCorbin.  He put the BMWbyCorbin back on to sell with the bike.

I love the low seat -- you can probably get he tank pad pretty cheap on ebay. I always tell people to consider taking the stock seat pan to a  motorcycle seat upholstery specialist and having one custom made, same price as a Corbin. My custom seat is going on 13 years now. A guy named Rich in Seattle stripped the stock foam and re-foamed it, building up the foam pad until it was exactly the right height. Gave me another 1.5 inches of height as opposed to the stock low seat, which was a little low for me.

Rich is still in the Seattle area but he sold his retail store and now only does seats. let me know if you want more info on him -- but IMO custom is the only way to get exactly what you need.
