hi team,
I recently purchased a '92 k1100LT
yesterday I started it and let it idle on the centre stand for about 10 mins before the electric fan kicked in.
it sounded quite loud to me. well, louder than I expected.
you could not mistake the fan was running put it that way
without anything to compare it with it is hard for me to tell.
sound normal? abnormal?
thanks all

Normal. The whirr of the blower is audible...if you have clicking it slapping or any other sound than the spinning noise, that wouldn't be normal.

thanks for your comments,
I will make the fan run again this weekend, and listen for the whirring, blowing or clicking. I think it was mainly whirring and blowing .
yeah that's right , I should worry when it not going.
thanks again

You can run test the fan using the test setting through the diagnostic plug
