K75 Seat Interchangeability

Is there some tutorial about which seats fit on which bikes?  I realize there are issues with the low seats and the tool trays, but will all K75 and K100 seats work on Kbikes.  I seem to recall the gas tank may have changed from early to later years, but maybe that is just for K100 bikes. ???

I'm hoping to pick up a Corbin/aftermarket seat at some point and am wondering how broad I can search.  Thanks!

The early K100 had a different seat. It had the grab handles built into the seat where the later ones had the handles as part of the ducktail and those are not very interchangeable but there is no reason that say a comfort seat from a 86 onward K100 would not fit a K75.
