New K100RS SE Owner in Colorado
« on: July 17, 2014, 05:42:20 PM »
Hi there, I just picked up a 1989 K100RS SE today. She's a beauty for sure although I do have to do a little brake work on her. My last BMW was an F650CS that I traded in on the K100, my other current bike is a Honda NT700V. Also a great bike but there's just something about a K bike. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the near future.

Hello KM Guy!  Is that the K100 that you had the protracted negotiation with the dealer?  Very nice bike and you won't regret it.  I picked up a K1100RS about six months back and this site has been a jewel with good information getting it back to running right.  Had some ABS issues and the cognoscenti hear provided good help.  -Mike

Did that bike come from a certain Dealer (non BMW ) in Denver ( S of the city proper) or a dealer up in the Longmont area. Just curious, as I may have seen that RS before. No real need to answer.

EDIT: Is there a little bit of left side faring damage to one of the lower "fins" ? I may of looked at that bike in June timeframe. The "place" were it was at had just taken in on trade...No real need to answer.
