my 85 loaded and ready for morning departure. heading west through virginia to ride VA route 16 (backbone of the dragon) then on in to west virginia, maryland, pennsylvania and then homeward bound. Will post pics and narrative upon return.
I have owned the 85 since 89, had 340 miles on it and was sitting unloved in a barn, made a deal and never looked back! the bike will roll over 200K on this trip. bike has sat nearly 10 years in storage of one kind or another, initial 4 years with first owner and then close to 6 more while i was deployed/stationed overseas (i am retired Army).
I also recently picked up a 94 K1100LT w/50K on odometer, which needs some TLC and minor maintenance, pic to follow once i assemble it.
great site, glad to have discovered it.
