K1100RS Weep Hole
« on: May 12, 2014, 04:05:57 PM »
This morning I drained the anti-freeze from the K1100RS and refilled with fresh coolant.  The old coolant was a bit dark but clean and no gel or goop at all.  Now that I've warmed it up to operating temp and given a test ride I notice that there is a very slow drip from the front of the block in the vicinity of the oil sensor.  I can't see a weep hole but from what I've read there should be one in that vicinity.  Is this normal and will it eventually dissipate?

True enough, photos are helpful, but I can't even see a weep hole and the drip is very slow.  I'll see what I can do tomorrow.  T-storms outside just now and I can't get to it.  Thank you.
