Broken Hinge Pin

The outside hinge pin on my K1100RS has broken. Any suggestions on how to mend this? The inside hinge pin is still functioning as well as the strut. I suppose I can live with it but the seat is a bit floppy when opened.

A picture so we can see how it is broken would be helpful.

mine has been broke for 30,000 miles...
the solution is a threaded rod coupler jb welded and double hose clamped to the frame... then a bolt from the front into the hinge screwed into the rod coupler...

Mine is broken too, but I switched to a low seat so it doesn't matter.
