1987 K100LT fuse block
« on: April 21, 2014, 12:53:34 PM »
 :dunno
Hey Guys, My problem is after removing the gas tank to weld the leak, I got checking the fuses. The second fuse  is a 15A. That one was blown. I've checked and can't seem to find any info on identifying which fuse goes to what. I would rather stay away from pulling each fuse and see what doesn't work. There are 7 in all, the top one is a 75A and the rest are 15A rated. Now that the tank is fixed, I'm going to replace the burnt fuse and see if anything works that didn't to begin with. I don't dare go to the dealership coz when the service manger smells estrogen he starts acting like he just hit the lottery. The bike was running ok until the leak happened. The wiring harness is a cluster fudge as the last owner wanted to build a café racer. Found the Lieberry listings and now I have a fighting chance on the speedo not working. Thanks for doing that.
Thanx,  McKaylah

The fuse designation should be printed on the clear fuse cover, it maybe is allready lost....
Fuse #2 is for the tail and park lamp, 7,5A.

It seems to be problems to upload attachements now, I will try to upload a fusebox overview later.

74 amps!  The alternator is only 32 amps or 50 amps.

Thanks for the help. The correct size fuses are now installed and all is well. The overview has been printed off  and put in the manual for future reference. I'm learning. Thanx  Mc Kaylah
