Nelson Rigg tank bag straps
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:12:11 PM »
Hi all,

I picked up this small Nelson Rigg tank bag.  Seems pretty nice, but a little on the small side.  I wanted to share some details on the mounting since it turned out rather well.

I used weather strip glue to fix 3 of the clips.  On the front I kept one of the strap buckles and cut the strap shorter.  The side straps are connected to the eyes on the bottom side of the gas tank.  The buckle and extra strap is hidden behind the side covers.

Looks clean and works well.  I will have to un-clip bag to open the fuel cap.  Also without the bag in place the side straps hang and should be removed.
