Hi everyone!  :bmwsmile

I have been riding my K75 for the last 3 days and been having a great time doing it.

My first rides on my first ever bike have been nothing but a joy. From the Lakeshore and Queen east, to the country roads north of the city, (Toronto, Ontario) To opening the throttle on an empty Gardiner expressway a few moments ago... sheer Joy. (The Gardiner Expressway is an elevated Highway that goes right through the downtown core of Toronto, it was like flying between buildings!)

I even saw another K rider already. (Blue 1985 K100) up on McCowan road today. Luck would have it, we caught the same stop light and chatted. Second day ever riding the bike, and already I am feeling a sense of community about it.

As a new rider, I am feeling like I made the right choice of bike.

I look forward to participating in this forum and learning/sharing with this community.

Happy riding everyone!  :2thumbup:

Congratulations! K-series is a great choice and the decision to join to the clan of motorbike riders! Every road is now different than driving it with a car...

It sure Is Oma Aika

Hey. Your bike looks just like mine! Red with the big windscreen!

Some of the nicest people I have ever met have been from Finland, and I am sure you're no exception.

Thanks for welcoming me to the club.

Welcome, your description brought back memories of my first rides.  The K75 is a great bike, seems to have just the right combination of sportiness, practicality, easy to live with and eccentricity. Enjoy :riding:

I'll be at the DQ at the top of Pottery Road this evening, probably from 6:30 until about 7:45. Mongrel drops around sometimes too. If you have time to stop by watch out for the scoots underfoot.  :hehehe
