Getting Lost on the Key Peninsula
« on: September 20, 2013, 06:57:51 PM »
Took the long way back from Tacoma today. Bad weather is scheduled to arrive later today and stick around for days and I wanted to get some riding in.

Ended up on the Key Peninsula. Never been there before.

I wandered around for an hour or so early this afternoon. Not a lot of twisties, but there were hardly any cars either. Virtually no commercial activity. Felt like I had the place to myself. Most roads shot through the forests but a few wound down to the shoreline and through some old neighborhoods. Lots of farms and homes had really old rusty farming and logging equipment positioned at driveway heads.
