Did I bend my center stand?

Does this look right?
Suddenly it got real hard to center stand the bike. Maybe it's me, maybe it's not? It seems to fit where it's supposed to but I don't really have a clear memory of what it 'should' look like.

Any suggestions on how to unbend this? Or, just buy Drake's for $125?

could you heat the bend using a propane torch, clamp it in a vice and then bend it back. There isn't a great deal of stress on that part of the stand when in use. You can try and if the arm breaks, you can always get the complete stand from Drake.

Best bet is to find someone with oxy-acetylene torch, with that it would easily straighten. My worry would be what weakness allowed it to bend in the first place?

Right, and my worry would be heating it and bending it back, only to have it break when I'm centering it...which could lead to a dropped bike, injury, impotence, hair loss, the nubs, dry mouth, etc....

Sorry -- wrong thread. I thought this was the guy whose center stand broke -- that was a 2v....but he's in Norway so I guess this US eBay link won't help much.

Heat it up, bend it to the correct shape weld re enforcement gussets to each side, heat it up again quench it in cold water whilst still hot. Once painted no one will notice and will last ages. CX500 plastic maggot did the same thing on me years ago bike is still standing (I think)
