13-08-02 Denver -> Moab -> Grand Canyon -> San Diego

3 days on the road and just over 1250 miles with 2 nights in Moab and 1 night in Williams. Highlights were the wind and sand storm on Highway 89 which felt like I was going to get blown down, the ride from Prescott down the mountain to the desert, and of course Monument Valley.

I'm staying in San Diego with family until Sunday, when I head up the coast for a few days, then start across the country back to New York. The bike's doing great.

Seb

Glamis (Highway 78 in Imperial County, CA, between the 10 and 8 freeways) is a pile of sand popular with dirt bikers, but I'm guessing no one was out this day because it was over 100 degrees. The K was a flying brick oven through here.

The border fence along Highway 94 in south San Diego County.
