Heading for Lake Tahoe and then MOA
«

Seems I have to take a Toyota Tacoma to my son in South Lake Tahoe. Figured I'd put the K75 on the back and do some western riding, maybe head up to the MOA rally in Salem, OR. Then head back home to Michigan on the blue highways. I need some ideas on how to get this bike out of the bed of this truck once I get to Lake Tahoe. I guess I could back into a ditch and roll it out but perhaps someone is familiar with the area and knows of someplace/someone that would be a resource. Loading dock? Forklift? Figure to be in Tahoe beginning of next week.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

A 10'-2x6 and a couple of 8'-1x4 makes a good ramp. [__]

Okay! So, the wrecker idea is brilliant. If I can't find one, Tim's suggestion should work for an old guy like me with arthritis, a K75RT with full bags, and a couple of IPA's in his belly.
Any chance I'll find any of you guys at MOA?

Sleeping in Cheyenne, WY tonight. Tried to stay on Rte 30 where it presented itself as an alternative to the I-80 slab. Actually made Nebraska a pleasant crossing!

I'll be at the MOA. How about meeting at the Beer tent around 6pm local time on Thursday. Look for a guy in a bright orange t shirt and a Vail hat with glasses.

You may not see this in time but I'll look for you, Keith. Just finished a whole day of micro-brew sampling in Bend, OR. I should be okay by Thursday. My hat has a slash5 embroidered on it and my face has white hair all over it.
