ca 36... the mecca... 138 miles from the red bluff chevron to the hydesville murrish market... so 276 miles of absolute yeeeeehaaaaaa... in the zone... could do no wrong... nobody in front... nobody behind... and the mad river burger bar... a no nonsense home grown bovine burger...

Made that trip last year, it is a major YEEEEEHAAAWWW, but even better with no traffic on the road.  I had to follow a U-Haul for 30 miles, till the Smokey Bear behind me, pulled him over.

I did that stretch on a bicycle twenty years ago. Great road.
