Perfect K1 Royal Blue...
« on: May 31, 2013, 06:03:01 PM »
The K1 was parked in the BMW Motorrrad on consignment. Low miles. Well looked after. Owner wanted an arm and a leg for it. Nice show piece. Same color as my K100RS too so I snapped as many photos as I could, pictures forthcoming...

Nice bike.  Custom seat.  The right headlight switch is black, but should be yellow. Thanks for the pic uploads.

This is Ontario, OF COURSE the bike was overpriced.  Just peruse Kijiji and look at the prices people ask for motorcycles, any make.  Sometimes, the asking price is nearly the same as new; it's ridiculous.  BTW, was this at BMW Toronto?

BMW Toronto, alright. Is IS ridiculous. I actually bought my K100RS on Kijiji for $3400, even that was steep at the time considering the work it needed once I drove it away. But glad I did. It forced me to start wrenching my own bike, that and the encouragement of the mighty Duck.
