New Red K-Bike
« on: May 28, 2013, 09:24:01 AM »
I woke up last Sunday morning and decided I needed to buy a new bike.  So I did:

It's got much more detail than the pink Micro Machine I got earlier, plus it's bigger. :yes

Funny, I looked at a little red BMW this weekend, but it was full size. Four grand for a 1988 K75S with 2nd gen cases and a Corbin leather seat, 41K on the clock. I figured that the price is a little high considering the over all condition of the bike. I sure would like to ride an "S" series though, just to see how different they feel.

98% of all Harleys ever sold are still on the road.
The other 2% made it home.

The Micromachine K100 in coveted pink with green seat and gold engine... :hehehe

It's slightly larger than one of the wheels on the red one.

Tamiya made a nice model of the K100. Its out of production and goes for around $50 on ebay. If I find an extra 50 lying around it would a fun build.
I used to think the brain was the most important part of the body. Then I realized who was telling me that.

I'm sorry... but that's wrong. You can't even call that salmon. The purple topaz ones from Berlin I kinda enjoy, but not pink. That's just not right. Some things go against the laws of nature, and a pink flying brick is the first item on the list. NO PINK K-BIKES!!

I am willing to wear a beret. That's ok under the right conditions, But riding a pink K75? Never!
