Add-on lights, change instrument lights
« on: May 27, 2013, 07:18:28 PM »
I know I had already found this information on this forum before, but that was last fall.  The weather kept me away from the bike all winter, but now I'm back, and I can't seem to find this info.  But I bet someone (or more than one someone) will have it for me again.

I'd like to add more lights to the front of my 1994 K75.  The recommendation I remember was for lights that look orange; what were their names again?  And I remember specific information about mounting them on the front forks; I'd like that info, too (the more specific, the better).

I had also found out about what was (I think) an LED upgrade to the instrument lights.  One of my lights goes on and off intermittently.  The LED upgrade was supposed to take care of that problem, make the lights brighter, and last almost forever.  Where do I get them?

Thanks.

LED kits for instrument cluster - http://kbikeparts.com/ledupgrade.htm - by Frankenduck. I highly recommend the upgrade.

Bingo.  Thanks.  I knew this site would come through with a minimum of fuss and bother.  (And clean-up is a snap!)
