Another battery question

Hello, its has been a while since I posted anything. This weekend found me a long ways from home with a dead battery. Long story short I borrowed a Insterstate SP-35R lawn and garden battery from a relatives John Deere riding lawn mower. The battery is rated at 300 CCA and 375 CA. Bike started right up all the lights and abs items worked as they should and installation was no problem. I intend to purchase  a correct battery this week as I have to return the tractor battery. My question is have any of you every used such a battery full time? Any words of advice or warnings will be appreciated. Thanks, Ken in Katy Tx.

 It seems to have the standby capacity, I don't think the environment in the lawn tractor is any more harsh than  the  motorcycle.

 Having said that, at a particularly tight financial period in life I ran one in my 81 R100RS.  It lasted about 3 years, but was only about $19.00 in 92 or 93.

 It gave up on a weekend ride with little warning. I do not know why, but it was so cheap I did not care. I simply push started my ride and ran with out lights to get home.
I have toggle switches to kill the lights. Head light, tail light, running lights, all separate. Probably the only thing that saved me. The bike had enough juice to run.
After that I put in a Yuasa, then an Odyssey after that. Still have the Odyssey but have not run that bike in 4 years.

yeah, the battery in my not-so-new-to-me-anymore K100 isn't a complete correct fit.   It sits in the battery holder, taking up 1/2 the space and is held down by the bar on top.  Given the age and space available, I think if it's the right capacity it shoulds be fine.   Amazon sells bunch of sealed rechargeable batteries used in Uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) that are 12v and able to be charged and discharged.  Probably worth looking into.
