greetings yawl...

hotel info for the pooper 8 depuke iower...

jumpin jummy b and i are gonna roll out early enough to be at the hotel at 3pm friday for check in... some of you folks asked about checking in early... 3pm is the published check in... we will be there at 3pm for you folks who wanted to get there early and chill...

now about the pooper 8 depuke iower...

the hotel manager called me and asked if we were gonna need all 9 rooms or if we could give up 1 or more... i told her we were gonna take all 9 even though only 7 are spoken for... there is a soccer tournament in depuke this weekend and apparently all the hotels are sold out...

so... if you have 2nd thoughts and wanna abandon this deal and bail... please advise immediately by email johnny@motobrick.com and i will give up your room... the deadline for this is 12 noon tuesday july 9th... i will be calling her at 12 noon on july 9th to give up our two spare rooms plus yours if you are not gonna show...

here is the rundown...

decided to stay just north of the 20... figger less traffic and more scenic... if we have time we plan to buzz some of the galena area too...

im gonna meet jumpin jimmy b at "b" on the map... meet spot in beloit at "b" at pattis road dawg
pub at 10:30... has very good reviews... have an early lunch... then to "c" genes no corn ethyl to fill up... then roll out to depuke...

you want in on some pattis road dawg and some no corn ethyl...

JO et all.   I am OUT for the weekend.  Work has summoned me, and they are required to feed my brick habit, so there will be no riding for me this weekend.

JO - if I'm into you for any lodging that you can't get out of - let me know and I'll make it right with you.  Also, if you're riding around 'sconnie any time later this summer let me know.

ok... the meet spot for saturday morning is the r ksu 7:30am...

duckhawk and his woman are gonna roll us up to balltown for breakfast at the world famous breitbachs... this place is world renown for their breaded tenderloin sandwich... so they have a breakfast buffet... you can order from the breakfast menu... and by special order of the motobrickers of earth society... iower pig butt pounded soaked dredged deep fried at 8am... o yawl...

ice cream in ferryville... lunch in soldiers grove... and the alphabet soup moto roads of southwest cheezconsin... yeeeehaaaaa...

Awesome. I'm certainly up for some company. I am however heading straight from the office which is actually up in the northwest suburbs (Niles), if he can meet me up there. i'd rather not have to come back down into the city. I can leave any time after 4pm. earlier the better of course. I'll give tio jaimito a PM.

OK...that was a great time! :2thumbup:

Super bunch of people...most of us had never rode together before, but Johnny O. had things covered.  Lots of firsts, lots of fun, lots of yeehaa...
I will be posting pictures tomorrow, as we just got home....

Yes it's late, but the new K11RS decided to commit suicide on 26 south, north of Freeport....rear tire had a sudden failure at about 65-70mph...
We stayed up for a bit, but eventually ran out of road and high sided into a ditch....
Couldn't really determine what happened, as the paramedic and sheriff wouldn't let me walk around.
We are both good, but very sore.  Nothing broken...damn....what a way to end a fantastic weekend.

I agree with scott !!! lt  are ok but maybe its te color . glad that you and the wife have not reinjured  . maybe its the shock in the rear .ITS CURSED. I could make it go away and life would be good again  :hehehe
