I'm in for the Sat 7-13 + Sun 14 meet up.

Maybe some riding in between after the July 4th holiday too.

I'd rather be riding.

  • Started on a Beemer...Never looked back.
I would love to come, if possible. I'm out of La Crosse and Buffalo county areas so the alphabet roads are my home away from home. I'll be coming back from a trip up north, so I'm not entirely sure how much of the ride I'll be in for or when I'll be able to meet up. I'll know more the closer I get. But this sounds like an awesome plan and a chance to get to know another part of good ol' WI and some of y'all that I only know from what you write on this forum.

Maybe next year....

" are you sure... we will NOT be eating strict vegan that weekend... "

On this, fixed it for ya.

Gross amounts of carnivourism have been know to occur on rides / roadtrips. Note invented word.

Not judging! Just sayin. Could be the sweet corn may be ready.

If it every freakin warms up!
I'd rather be riding.

I thought maybe he was talking cannibalism of a strict vegan.

I figured as long as I wasn't that vegan, things would be ok.

rodger that...

just be advised... there is no good riding between ilinoguns and salem orogoon...

j o

Except maybe, Dead Indian Pass, Beartooth Pass, Yellowstone, Lolo Pass, Rattlesnake grade, Joseph to Halfway, Baker City to Sumpter to Ukiah, anything around Spray and prolly a dozen or so others that I can't think of right now.

PM me if you need idea-ers.

I'm in for a room and i don't mind bunking, as long as they aren't vegan or a cannibal  :lets-eat:.

also, I'll be coming from Chicago, so that 3+ hour ride in on Friday is there for me as well, likely after work hours, but I'm flexible on that. I'm curious as to who else is making that same ride and if schedules align to group up at all for it. (obviously that applies for the way back home after as well, but I imagine I'll know more of you by then and we can talk it out.)

Count me in, for both nights.
YTD, Mrs Underscore may come along too. She had a real interest in it when I talked with her about it this weekend.

I'd also like to add, while i'm down with one of the rooms for the first night, i'm probably going to look at camping options for the second.

I've got a light hammock set up that i'll bring with and it will help keep the cost for the weekend down. So if that is concern for any others, i've got no issues with sharing space in the area (and likely some beers). And if anyone is curious, hammock camping is likely more comfortable than some hotel/motel beds, so don't knock it until you try it.

have yet to look into actual options but i'll do that soon.
