Got the rear MC apart, which was a chore since it was stuck in the bore. Everything looks good, no pitting or scratches, but the rubber on the plunger is no good, it's swollen and wont move well in the bore. I'll order a kit for it today.

What's the best maker of stainless braided lines for these bikes? Mine are in OK shape, but they all need to be flushed, so while I'm at it...

Thanks for all the input.

Shawn

If you've got a good brake man or hydraulic hose co. around, just take your hoses to them and have them make you some. Otherwise, Spiegler or Galfer....

Royal Brass has been very helpful to a buddy of mine and I on our projects - they are in Marietta off I-75/Bells Ferry area.

If you haven't changed the pump yet you more then welcome to listen to mine Friday. I work off Chastain east of 575.

If you do get Royal to make up some hoses let me know how that goes. I just scrapped my ABS and bought some hard line from them to bypass. I was a bit shocked at what they charged me. I've bought line from them before and the price seemed more reasonable. Granted its been a few years and maybe the economy has had a lot of influence.

I got my purolator pump from USPS today, so I'll be installing that this afternoon, hopefully it will be quieter. I rode for about 30 miles or so yesterday evening, and that noise drove me crazy. I'd have to sell it if it were like this all the time.

Anyway, my brake lines are fine for now.. I'll want to put a couple hundred miles on the bike before I start spending any real money on this thing.
