Thinking about selling my brick, how much can I expect? SOLD
« on: February 27, 2013, 04:20:39 PM »
Asking $2500
I have an 86' K100RS with just under ~60k on it.

Here it is.

Heated grips!  The tires have less than 1k on them.  I just put in a new odyssey PC680 battery last spring, along with a new starter relay.  There are some minor scrapes on it.  It starts up and runs beautifully I just don't enjoy being a motorcyclist too much with my medical condition.
Other extras include extra seat for riding two up, both side hard bags and top box (BMW OEM), motorcycle cover, battery tender, haynes manual with previous owners service records  I'll even throw in my helmet (with BMW LOGO!!!) and some other misc tools, oils, (gearbox oil, oil filter wrench).

I really love the bike but I don't ride it nearly enough.  I want to find a good home for it!  Located near Toledo, Ohio.  Contact me for more details!

If your medical condition is going to be forever, I can see selling the bike. If you are going to recover, then keep the bike.

Nice bike!

There are too many nice bricks for sale and not enough money in my bank account or enclosed parking at my house for all of them!

Too many variables to be honest, but my guesstimate would be about $2600.  As previously mentioned there are quite a few clean bricks out there not selling for reasonable prices as it is, which is of course no good for you.  Recently watched someone part out a relatively clean clone of my '94 RS because he couldn't get something near his $2200 asking price.  Sadness.

I was hoping for a ~$2500 figure.  My medical conditions they "say" is un-curable.  I've been juicing however and I think that may change.  I could really use the money for something else, I plan on buying a Lotus Elise in the next few years!

Thanks!  It's up for $2500, getting a lot of e-mails from just craiglist.  I'd definitely put it at very good, but then it comes with a lot of extras too.
