National Cycle Deflector Screen
« on: February 14, 2013, 09:47:55 PM »
Does anybody have experience with the national cycle deflector screen? I just ordered one, and was assured it would fit my 85 k100 standard, but it won't. There is not much room on the handlebars, where it connects, but they are the standard handlebars without any additions. Anyone have this problem?

Well, if you don't have experience with the deflector, does anyone know if there are handlebars that are easily interchangeable with the basic K ones? Or just something that could create a few extra inches of space?
Thanks

This article http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,570.0.html on the various K bike bars in the Lieberry might be a starting point for you.

I got it to fit on my K75 standard. Just slip the metal brackets under the wires, and connect everything loosely at first. Then adjust it until it fits right.

Wmax, if it's not too much of a bother, would you mind posting a picture of how yours is connected?
Thanks

here is mine, plenty of space for me, but i know there are a few different dash pads that people might have.

also, yeah, there are a lot of miles, but running well(now) and was dirt cheap. (clock replacements are not unfortunately)
