How much fuel line do I need to buy for my K75RT, going to change fuel filter and line in tank. :mbird

I had a heck of a time locating anything other than 1' lengths of the submersible line you will need for the tank and be prepared for some sticker shock, IIRC it was close to $30...  The stuff outside the tank just needs to be injection rated hose and I'm thinking that 4' left me with some extra.

The internal tank stuff can be generic too. Just needs to be submersion rated.

Approximate lengths for a K75:

Fuel Rail to Tank - 10 7/8"
Fuel Fail to FPR - 9"
FPR to Tank - 19 1/2"

About 40" total, might need an inch or two more on the fuel rail to tank line for a 2V K100

The BMW submersible fuel line is cheaper than aftermarket.  Part 16121180040 is about $25 for a meter of it. That should be enough to do two tanks.

Hey frankenduck did you mean 9" for inside the tank? I bought 12" is this enough for inside tank on K75?

I took the 12" piece I bought, cut off a 2 inch section for the small hose. It will work but it is a sharp bend in the hose (not a kink). What is needed is about 16" total for the fuel filter hose replacement inside the tank.

The factory line from the fuel filter to the pump is about 13ish+ inches plus a few more inches for the other one.  I agree that the ideal total length for both is in the 16" neighborhood.
