K75 bar ends
«

This is dumb question but trying to fit new handlebar grips but the bar ends will not budge. Twiddling the Allen screw does nothing and i dont want to tear anything up.
Does anyone have a headlamp rim and glass, round style?
Thanks
Brian

I just responded to your email regarding the headlight.
On most of the K75/100 bar ends I've seen the purpose of that Allen screw is to compress either one or two O-rings against the inside of the handlebar tube to hold the bar end on. Get the Allen screw pretty loose and then push/pull and wiggle them around.
