« on: May 15, 2011, 01:05:29 PM »
I'm hosting some K bike wiring diagrams if anyone is interested. I advise you to download them now in case that page goes away.

I have been searching for the 03/95 version of the k1100 lt  wiring diagram and the link above is dead.My bike has no fuel pump prime, spark,a bad turn signal box also no crank with side stand down but when up it cranks.I have tested a lot of stuff except for fuel pump ,hes, ignition control unit and the motronic box. Any help would be welcome.

Welcome. How long have you owned this moto? How many miles are on its odometer? How many miles have you ridden it? A photo or two would be appreciated.

You will find wiring diagrams at this link. The diagrams are accessed by downloading them from their links next to the startled heads.

Please go to the homepage and click the Profile tab. In the Modify Profile tab menu, click Forum Profile. In that window, scroll down to Bikes and enter your moto's year and model then click the Change Profile button at the lower right of the window. Doing that will show your moto's information as a reference in every post you make.

I saw an advert on Craigslist for a pair of  bmw k1100 lt motorcycles that had bee sitting non-op i could  not pass up the lovely price of 500 usd for both. The one iam working on has the above stated problems. Thanks for the diagrams i could not find the one with the motronic  box. I wanted to get back on the road again.

The motronic box is located on the engine diagram...

You didn't say how long they have been setting.... the pump could be seized up.

The pdf drawings in the above link are scans from the Clymer book. I have since acquired the official BMW diagrams. I'll see if I can upload the new ones.

Sorry about that . One plate sticker is early 2015 and the other is 2017. they had been sitting outside near the beach.I am working on the early 2015.I assumed as much on the fuel pump I have to drill the gas cap screws because of they are corroded and seized.I am hoping the Motronic box and hes are still good just need to build the testers.

Where is the ignition control unit in the diagrams?

There is one issue some times the o2 sensor wires warm up when battery is low.

That is an ignition amplifier. It was attached to the battery tray. According to the Max BMW parts fiche, its use in K1100 models was discontinued after August 1993. Your motos should not have one.
