Is the coil plastic cover really vital?
« on: October 06, 2012, 01:21:38 PM »
Again, simply a matter of looks. I clean my bike just about every time I ride it therefore no gunk would ever accumulate on them; would simply riding under the rain hurt the coils with the cover removed? The rubber boot over the plug wires/coils is pretty tight no? Especially if I fill it with dielectric grease? Thanks!

This cover isn`t present on the 16V models, but it`s a bit other connectors.
But the connectors don`t make any difference related to keeping the moisture out.

What better place to mount your plug for electrical accessories?   :hmm:
