Maybe the K&N filter with its hex head is not such a bad idea. No special filter wrench needed. Just use a 17mm wrench.

Using Open Office makes it incredibly easy to save something as a PDF file. Like I said earllier, I want to see about finding a local source for a crush washer and O ring also. On top of that, I have a BMW part number that I understand is for an automobile but will fit the brick. I need to check that out too.

Any ideas of what else you would like to see on the list?

Depends on how far you want to go with it. I would keep it centered on Oil Filters and parts related to them. Tools & Any tricks also.
I know we started with the K100's but I guess it could include other K & maybe R bikes as the information comes in.
Maybe make it a group effort and start a thread that asks what others have used and get them to give part #'s and other information.

I use M.S. Office and have a Print to PDF app. that works well.
I guess it depends on how far you want to go. K's are world wide so the sky is the limit. But I suggest we keep it real for now.
