Tire Plug Kit Recommendations?

Planning a "big circle route" tour of the U.S. in a few weeks and will be taking my K75.
Want to take along some sort of tire plug kit but don't know what would be best. On my spoke bikes, I carry tire spoons, patches and a small compressor but I'm not opposed to CO2 cartidges.
Any help would be appreciated.

i don't recommend using the gas cartridge because you can inflate a tire 5 times with one compressor but when the cartridge is empty you may as well throw it out ,it isn't good for anything.
also i find that 3 cartridges are needed to get the tire to the just rideable stage.  far as i am concerned they make good things to throw at next doors cats.

well nothing actually its the guy himself but he is 6'8" ans 270lb so i take it out on his cats. :hehehe

While learning how to do a tire change at a club's tech day a few years back, the demonstrator had us try out our plug kits on the old tire before he removed it from the wheel.  It became obvious my plug kit would not work on the road.  Watching several others try out their kits, it seemed to me that the  Stop and Go Pocket Tire Plugger  provided the most reliable and efficient method for plugging.  So, that is what I pack on my bike, along with the compressor.
While doing your next tire change, punch a whole in the soon-to-be-removed tire and give your plug kit a try:  The best plug kit is the one that you have confidence in before you have to really use it

I carry a Stop'n Go tyre plugger kit and a compressor on both of my bikes. I have used them four times on the road with success and ran the tyres to the end of their useful life. Just sayin....

Also remember to get a fresh kit each season. The only thing worse than having no kit is to have a kit with old solvent/glue. They aren't that expensive to have a fresh one every year for peace of mind.

Not a fan of the mushroom plugs.  Prefer the sticky string.  Have used the ss plugs for moto and car/truck tires for years without a failure.  Will run the car/truck tires to extinction with a plug.  A little more cautious on the moto. 

+1 on getting new glue each year.  Sticky strings and glue are available at every auto parts store and Walmart.
