Time Travel in Japan
« on: August 13, 2012, 08:56:05 PM »
My bags are finally packed and I'm off to the land of the riding sun come tomorrow morning for 24 days.

I'll be blogging when possible. http://supergrider.blogspot.com/

man o man, packing & airport schedules are a friggin hassle. Frustrated confirming a hotel reservation this afternoon at the Philadelphia airport

Royal pain in the ass fitting motorcycle gear into a suitcase, especially the helmet, I can barely zip the damn thing. Prayer to the BMW K Gods, that my cheap scale is correct.

Minami Alps/Chubu region this time around with some dual sport ADV terrain thrown in for good measure.

Below links are excellent if you bricKheads would like to explore Japan via computer.

PS: saved one motObrick sticker to attach to the Honda African Twin.  :bmwsmile :bmwsmile

Looks like a lot of fun. I've been to japan twice, and would love to ride there.

If you get the chance, spend some time in the Hakone area. Probably my favorite place in the world, and I've been to a lot of places. Great motorcycle roads as well.

Have a great trip, Gary. :mbird

Say hi to Jim for me.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
