Thanks, thats what I want, but didnt know what to call them.  I have layed it down once already, trying roll it into the garage and I slipped on the gravel when the tire hit the 2" difference between the driveway and the concrete :eek2: I will have to fill in the driveway to make it easier to get it in there.

New member, New K owner, New to BMW bikes.. triple Whammy.
Been riding for 35+ years, Harleys (so completely over those things...ugh) and all the Japanese makes, featuring Seca, Sabre, V-max, Goldwing, Eliminator, GS, etc...

Now I feel like a teenager that has just found love for the first time...  have ALWAYS loved Beemers, just never had the cash when the right bike showed up, or never found the right bike when the cash showed up...  Just bought this 102K mile LT.. and am in absolute love with it.

My new/old 93 K1100lt

I just picked up my '94 K75 last week before we went on vacation. 36K miles , one owner and pretty well maintained.
The splines checked out good and I lubed them up, changed the drive oil, engine oil and removed the saddle bags and top trunk.
This weeks list includes a new set of tires (I'm leaning to Pirelli Sport Demons), brake pads and I may splurge on a new progressive rear shock unit.
Later I want to redo the front forks with progressive springs and a set of gaiters.

I quit riding well my first son was about one and last year the youngest went off to college and the Yamaha Road Star followed me home one day. It's a lot of fun but I spend 20+ years on Bonnies, Commandos, a Ducati or two and I always wanted a BMW.
The K handles so nice and at 55 the wind almost drowns out the exhaust.
It will be my ride for my commute to and from work; about 25 miles each way on secondary roads.

Sure thing.....   Will you have a seat pan for partial trade?  As if I do off this RDL, I'd be having them make me one up for my wideness....  ;)

Here's mine! 86 k75C with K100 std front fairing.

Progressive 465 rear shocks. Hid headlight. And the obvious Corbin seat.

Hi, my first post here so hello all, this is me on my 1985 K100rs race bike currently being campaigned in the B.E.A.R.S race series here in the U.K.
Its the first season racing the K100 after building it this winter and even with a few teething problems we are 3rd in the championship and the bike makes a fine racer! You can see more on our website www.bskspeedworks.co.uk or www.oldracer.co.uk
