Why I love My K
« on: August 10, 2012, 10:59:38 PM »
I drive semi for a living. I spend all day with asshats either wanting to pass me (that doesn't bother me) when I have the cruise set at 3+ the speed limit or fucking brain dead bungholeos driving 48mph in a 60. Fuck me runnin. I gotta have about 1 mile of clear road to make a pass and that's not happening.
Then I get on the K coming home. Today, Friday, some brain dead bitch is holding up 7 cars going 45 to 50 in a 55 with limited passing opportunities. I'm # 8 and I like it cause I know I'm going to pick them off one by one and then slow to mirror the speed of the dumb bitch that causing the rolling road block, drop to 3rd and leave her in my wake. I can't help it. I know I'm only saving seconds, but dammit, look at the damn needle on your dash if you see cars stacking up behind you.

keepin aholes like that in the rear view is the BEST way I know to stay out of an accident.........

Not so sure about that. If they don't pay any attention to what's behind them, who's to say that they pay any better attention to what's IN FRONT of them.
I personally would rather be behind them where I can keep an eye on them and what they are doing and have a little better "control" of my environment.

"soap box off"
YMMV.

You need anger management counseling. :neener:
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

right city case latch finally bit the dust today on the canyon road. Internal failure, fu*K it's only 19 years old.

small talk with the Harley boys at the petrol kiosk. BMW's are referred to as "whispering death" in the gaggle for noise factor.

Second that.

I can see this cool graphic of a skeleton with his left index finger up to his teeth, ala "shhhh", mounted on a K with his right bony hand twisting the throttle hard, bearing down on a bunch of Hardly-Able-To's.

The caption would read, "Klassisch BMW K - das Flüstern Tod"
