went out on 1986 k100rs outfit everything ok.stopped for 30 mins and restarted,engine began missfiring,limped home and checked.engine running on 2 cylinders ,nos 1 & 3. can anyone help please.

Check the ground wires and other connections on you coils. Reseat the L-Jetronic connector.

problem solved,spark plugs on cylinders 2 & 4 failed together, (unusual ).changed both plugs and everything ok..spark plug access difficult due to sidecar.thanks for help.
