look for the "johnny blanket" post, its a piece of reflective insulation cut and placed under tank and seat area...supposedly helps somewhat. Your legs are gonna get roasted, wear vented/mesh type riding pants or jeans..and some loose boots.
there will be all kinds of surprises with your new bike, look at the 'lieberry' section here for many good write ups on how to keep these bikes going. They have good engines, but, other things tend to go, routine maint. is important. I think the heat these things create causes a lot of the rubber seals to age quick, and some design weaknesses (spline drives, shafts, etc.) Welcome to shop!
