UK newbie saying 'hello'
« on: July 07, 2012, 11:07:00 AM »
Hi, I've just bought a 1984 K100 RS, someone else's unfinished re-build project. Heard good things about this forum from UK sources. Picking it up next weekend.

Not totally new to BMW ownership - I've had a '79 R65, & an '81 R100RS.

Currently riding an Aprilia RST Futura, which I've had 4 years.

Started riding in 1973, with '57 Triumph 6T Thunderbird sidecar outfit.

Cheers,

Martin

Unfinished rebuilds are always good fun! Good luck !

Keep in mind the BMW club in the UK has a very good tool hire scheme with all the specialist bmw tools in it. All on hire for two parts of naff all! Its only available to members though.
