Which pushrod do/can I use?

Last week I asked about using a later transmission, which I wound up buying.Thanks again for the help.  It comes with a diffrent style pushrod, it appears to be tapered where it would push against the diaphragm spring. The rod from my existing unit bells out and is flat where it pushes against the spring; are they interchangeable? The reason I ask is that the spring has a slight groove worn in it that kind of catches the end of the bell, if I have to use the old rod I think I'll have to get a new spring. If I can use the new rod theres nothing to get caught up and wouldn't need a new spring, as it springs as it should.

Any advice or firsthand experience would be greatly appreciated.

If it matters it's a 95 K75s, ooh additionally if I ever go to the paralever are the three spoke wheels just bolt up and go?

K75`s got a different clutch and pushrod, compared to other models, switch the old pushrod your "new" box.

The K75 has a different pushrod to the K100/1100 and also a different diaphram spring and clutch pack.
The 75 pushrod has a large mushroom section and will not go through the shaft all the way but the K100 pushrod is the same diameter all the length.
If the tranny is from a K1100 the top gear ratio will be a bit higher which all in all will be of benefit to a K75 and will be ok.
The 3 spoke wheels are not as simple as just bolt up there are many differences front and back but they can be interchanged with a bit of messing about.

FYI: I used a K75 pushrod on my K75 with a K1100 transmission so I can vouch for that working well.

A 3x17 3-spoke rear is bolt on and go.

The 3-spoke front uses different front axle spacers.
