starter relay location/what can cause a severe batt drain?
« on: June 01, 2012, 05:32:58 PM »
OK, Im new here, seems my starter relay is fused after a low volt batt was replaced on my 93 k1100lt.
Where is it?
best part to replace it with?

Thanks, John

I fixed the relay and with a new batt it ran great for about 6miles.
then it barely started, acting like a low batt.  Starter or alternator?

When I first started it up the dash batt light was on. went off after a mile or two.

At rear right in the relay box, under the rear end of the fuel tank.

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
