Self retracting stand.

I now have in hand the parts to re-fit the self retracting stand. I am having problems finding where to attach it!

I have a whole "used center/sidestand assembly. The spring holder is different to what is fitted to my bike, and the retractor pivot is missing on my bike.

I want to change over my whole used assy, but I can't find where the rod is supposed to attach.

The rod is very similar to a wheel spoke but it has a half moon shaped  stainless "nut".

Any pics or diagrams would be helpful. I'm just hoping that I don't need a special clutch arm as well!

I can see that there should be the lever part 1 but where is that part? Attached to the clutch arm?

It rotates on the clutch arm pivot rod and is rotated to retract the side stand when the clutch is pulled in.

Arggh I dont have that part or the extension on the clutch arm pivot rod to mount it!

Is part No 11 the same on all bikes?

Thanks it looks like I need to find parts 123 and 8 from your diagram.

You already have part 8.  It's a needle bearing inside the clutch lever.

I think you need to see a picture of how things work.  I'll see if I can get you one tomorrow.  Maybe some video if possible to help you understand things a little better. 

Will be more helpful than looking at parts diagrams where everything is in pieces.

Thanks. It is a bit difficult to work out which parts have been removed.

In this picture is it standing upright, in line with the left leg of the center stand and visible above and below the clutch arm?

Hint: Before you install it regrease the needle bearings in the pivot hole through the clutch lever to keep clutch operation as smooth and easy as possible.
