Line-X belly pan prep?
« on: March 25, 2012, 10:38:29 AM »
I want to get my belly pan done with Liine-X truck bed liner coating...
Any thoughts on how I should prep it...remove the decals?  Sand the rough spots? Clean off the road tar?

Just leave it up to the Line-X guys.  They know what they're doing and it's got a lifetime guarantee.

ditto here, as I desire to revamp my touring saddlebags.

Do I need to remove the locks, hinges before the Line-X treatment ?

Or can I simply cover the sensitive areas with tape ?
