I used to have one of those in 1967. They were ok for the rain but when in the up position were VERY prone to disappearing of your helmet never to be seen in one piece again. Not really worth 39'6p let alone $89.
My Held gloves have a built in rubber wiper on the left hand. Works excellent for clearing the shield but it still sucks when it's raining hard or all day use, read tired arm syndrome. :giggles
In search mode for a "quality" face shield wiper. Strange, even with all my contacts in the MC world, never actually seen one first hand.
Even stranger that a top of the line helmet manufacturer would NOT market a wiper. Schubert, Arai, Shoei, Nolan, etc. Hell, I would rather be able to see than BlueTooth technology.
Check this out:
Anyone here use Rainex,Zook, polished soap, etc., on the shield to repel raindrops ? If so, state your "likes and dislikes" please, I'm all ears.
