Rear Reflectors
« on: February 23, 2012, 03:38:00 PM »
91 K100RS.  The left side reflector on the rear fender is missing, and I notice that there are two mounting holes just beneath the license plate which I assume is for a rear reflector (It has been missing since I got the bike, and frankly I just noticed it).  I am having trouble locating these items using the parts fiche from A&S.  Anyone know a source for these or a name, part number, etc. so I can try to locate them?  Thanks....

On the 4V Ks they are held on by double-sided tape.

The part number for the left body is 63142305037

The part number for the red reflector is 63141459995

I think those extra holes are for a euro license plate mount or something.  A lot of us put these in them:

Duck....ahh....good to know about the two holes under the plate.  Makes sense.  You wouldn't happen to have a left side reflector in your stock of goodies would you?

I might have some lying around somewhere.  I take them off and replace them with LEDified K75 reflectors on my bikes.

I'm down in CA for a couple of weeks right now.  Gonna give JO some riding lessons on Sunday and Monday. :yes

Why even bother with those silly rear reflectors.

Time to get hip and use LED's instead.

About the ONLY thing reflectors are good for is overnight parking.

Even LED's accidentally left on are almost zero draw on battery.

ok, thanks.  Looks like to do this I will still need the left side reflector, unless you are using something else in place of the stock reflectors.
