Good morning, I am in the process of bringing back to life 1994 K75C. The tank was badly corroded. I asked my friend - a body shop owner, who does aluminum welding to fix and repaint it. He called me this morning that the tank is beyond repair. So I am looking for a replacement tank and there are few on eBay. AI says 1993-94 model year has 130 mm distance between front mounts, whereas older ones (I am specifically looking at one from 1991) have 90 mm. Do you think it is possible to cut rubber mounts on the frame to accommodate 1991 tank? Is the fuel sender footprint same on those tanks? The sender on my rusted tank looks good, and surprisingly fuel pump looks fine, although it appears smaller than ones I've seen before. Would be there other fitment issues? Thank you for your help!
