SCAM ALERT!
« on: December 15, 2025, 10:02:38 AM »
Ok fellows there is a scammer who “ refers” you to a guy that supposedly has a part you were looking for. He asks to pay with an Apple gift card. There is no part coming and he probably doesn’t have any part of any kind. Merry Christmas guys be careful out there.

I had that happen to me earlier this year over on BMW MOA. I lost $100 as that payment method wasn't covered by PayPal. I was also contacted through a PM here this morning regarding something I am looking for. The fellow said to give someone else a "ping" as this other person might be able to help. I am not even going to bother to reply to it.

I am originally from NYC and know a scam when I see one. Please alert the entire BMW community if possible. I really laid into him on an email. In short, its mother must be so proud. The miserable bastard is probably reading this because this was the website that I posted my request.
