We didn't do our planned overnighter, but we did get out yesterday for a trip to have lunch.
Rode down to Laughlin for the seafood buffet lunch at Joe's Crab Shack.
Again south on 95, nice day, a little chilly - about 60 degrees

Coming into Laughlin, the wind was really blowing

No more lunch buffet - Joe's said it wasn't working out - Bummer !! So we ordered sandwiches, didn't want to spend $50 for lunch. I had a bacon cheese burger, 1/2 pound and pretty tasteeee, for a crab joint.

A short walk after lunch, didn't walk far, wind made for a very cold walk

No gambling - had to ride. The construction of the main drag was finally done. While leaving Joe's, a man looked at us (carrying our helmets) and said - you guys aren't riding are you?? Come on, what's a little wind & cool temps??

We took HWY 164 (again) wanted to get a few pics of the Joshua trees, getting the camera out

Looking back east at Searchlight (in yellow)

We stopped in Nipton this time, had a hot coffee & tea at the Nipton Trading Post

More E Clampus Vitus

The Nipton Hotel, yep it is open...would be a long evening there, not much night life, the restaurant next door isn't open

Got home after dark again...about 250 miles
