Battery panel / cover repair
« on: October 07, 2024, 02:39:11 PM »
Ok fellas, Has anyone had success repairing the post / pin side of battery cover. I don’t have the piece. My initial thought was to use a steel bolt, and then coat with JB weld and paint.  See Photos

After buying 100 euro replacement right-side cover on e-bay, and having it not show up and pee-up-a-rope for a month and not get a refund...  I fabricated a side cover from 18 guage steel, and epoxied the pins on.
