K75 Short Seat Mounting
« on: May 23, 2023, 10:36:51 AM »
Hey y'all. I've got a very particular issue.

Just bought my K75 and took off the tank and seat - I have the short seat and rubber padding. I then noticed that the seat is held on by hope, and hope alone - there's no mounting hardware.

I found one part on ebay for sale (that of course is incredibly expensive). Is there a DIY way to secure the seat for the time being? Or does anyone happen to have an extra they'd be willing to part with (for $$$)?

It's held on by gravity.

This will show you the mounting hardware for a low seat:

If you have the little plastic hooks on the tail cowl and the metal hook on the seat then you might be able to tie front hook down somehow.
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
