Need help identifying a part.

Had some work done on my '91 K 75S at a shop they replaced my transmission. Picked up the bike yesterday and I seem to be missing a piece and I can't find in the parts fiche. I'm seeing a lot more of the back of the battery than previously. The piece would be located to the rear of the battery and mounts at the bottom on two roll pins and bushings on the top of the rear of the transmission and extends up past the rear of the battery. Not sure where the top attaches perhaps with the front mount of the rear mudguard. In short it would be "the front extension of the rear mudguard".  I can see it is pictures of K 75 but can't locate it in the fiche. It was there before the work was done. Sorry this is cryptic but I could certainly use a little help. I'll call the shop Monday but if I knew what the name of the part is it would help. Thanks in advance.

From the factory there is no front extension of the rear mudguard on K75s.  Only the 4 valve K bikes have that.

Thanks for the reply. I wish I had taken a picture because when I was painting the replacement transmission I noted one of two roll pins was missing and I looked at the bike to see what mounted there and swear there was a piece mounted to it. Curious there is no mud over that area and on the back of the battery like the top of the rear mudguard.

Oh well another mystery. I'll have to find another K to look at.

Each of those roll pins at the top rear of the transmission has a rubber bushing on it. Part 46621450473

They go into the little indents in the front lip of the rear mudguard.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if one of  those roll pins is missing but you can buy one. Part 07119941381

It's called a Mudguard rear or sometimes rear wheel cover part #46621450471.

The curved mudguard part right behind the battery is what I think I'm missing.  Thanks again Frankenduck I know the roll pins are not an issue my old transmission has the pins and bushing in there I can use those. The  existing mudguard does not extend down behind the battery it stops at the bracket under the front end of the seat.

The picture of the red bike is not mine just one I just grabbed off the internet because it showed thew mudguard clearly.

OK I think I figured it out. Thinking the rear mudguard is installed backwards. If so I hope they didn't cut it off to make it fit. The lip at the back is supposed to go on the transmission.  Please take a look at the picture and tell me what you think.

Frankenduck - Your picture really helps it's much better than the drawings on the fiche! That is what mine looks like - only the lip is on the back of the bike presently and should be on the rear of the transmission. I may order one as they are pretty inexpensive and I won't know if the mudguard is pressed out of shape until I remove it.

Actually I do work on the bike. Picked it up as a nonrunner and brought it back. It was low mileage and always stored inside so good raw material. I rode it for a few years then it developed a transmission leak. I really did not have time nor skills for that. That work process has also been troublesome but hopefully I am by that. That took the last three riding seasons to get through so I've only ridden the bike a little during that period. With the lack of riding things don't jump out at me as would if I had been riding at my usual frequency. The fact that I could see a lot more battery and innards under there did strike me as not normal. Just took a few hours help to figure it out with everybody's help. Haven't had the bike out yet but did do some looking around today and when I swap the mudguard around I'll do some more checking.

Hey it must be in there correct it bolted right up  My lawn mower never comes back assembled correctly from the shop. Everybody has a phone with a camera in their pocket take freaking pictures before one begins, I do it all the time.

Well I was able to get out on the bike today after some checking fastners etc. Except for the reversed mudguard so far so good. Rebuilt transmission functions well and shifts smoothly. I'll fix the mudguard  then put some miles on and then figure out the next move.
