I think I have a Water Pump replacement coming up..

‘93 K1100RS
Had my hearing aids in a few weeks ago, and realized there was a sound I’d not been used to up front. Haven’t been riding much, and the bikes been sitting a lot. Today, after an oil change, started it up for the leak check and the noise is much louder. Didn’t have time to really investigate, but The high pitched Whine/Squeal has me thinking water pump.
Is there a place here that goes over that process? Dos and Don’t? I looked at the Tech pages here, did not see any Pump removal/replace notes. I do have a Hanes shop book.

Search for "waterpump" in the workshop.
Plenty of posts to lead you down that rabbit hole. There are some links in all those posts.
I followed the advice given and it worked out fine for me.

Hey DB! Thanks for the reply / advice, look through the threads for other links…..  Yep, always a good way to get more info.
As it turns out, I may be a Dummy!! Might be an obvious thing.
Ran it on the center stand today, with the Hi-Tech wooden stick diagnostic tool. There is some water pump noise, but Likely could be normal. No water or Oil showing……. Knock wood!!
Discovered the noise comes from Mid-Engine. Did the stick on the alternator, pulled the clutch, nothing found. The really ODD thing is can REALLY hear it with my ear on the tank. Noticed the Low Fuel light is on………… could possibly be the fuel pump? Will add gas and see! If so, hope I haven’t damaged the pump!

Here's one explanation of noise in the fuel tank, and also a remedy, other than not running with an excessively low fuel level in the tank.

No external dripping, no coolant in oil, no oil in coolant, fan operates when it should. You have no problem.

What do you have left, if anything, in Triumph fork parts?

Well, there was the cost of the fuel.
